LYNCHBURG, VA- Coppin State Volleyball has marched into some unfamiliar territory this past weekend.
The Lady Eagles have won an in-season tournament for the first time in program history by claiming the Liberty Invitational. They marched into Liberty Arena and displayed a dominance never seen before, going 3-0 with wins over Eastern Michigan, Liberty and Radford. These victories increased the Coppin State (9-6) winning streak to seven.
Coppin State head coach Tim Walsh addressed the history his Lady Eagles has made in the video.
