The Washington Mystics got off to a great start this time around. Too bad the rest of the game didn't go that way. Shavonte Zellous helped lead an 18-3 second quarter run for the Indiana Fever in their 89-80 victory over the Mystics.
The Mystics remain winless in three games in the Verizon Center. This time, the Mystics got off to a pretty good start in the first quarter with the help of Crystal Langhorne and Matee Ajavon. They put Washington on top 24-13 at the end of the first quarter.
But the second quarter has seen the Mystics fall into the same old bad habits with turnovers, crappy defense and a Mr. Hyde type turnaround.
