PHILADELPHIA- A very tough test awaits the Coppin State Eagles at Hagan Arena tonight as they come to Philly to face off with the St. Joseph's Hawks of the Atlantic 10. A win tonight earns Coppin State head coach Ron 'Fang' Mitchell number 400 in his career @ Coppin.
The last time Coppin faced off with the Hawks was on March 15, 1995 when the Eagles defeated SJU 75-68 in overtime in Philadelphia in the first round of the NIT.
Meanwhile, the Coppin State Lady Eagles host St. Francis (PA) tonight @ 6 in the PEC. The Lady Eagles attempt to snap a five-game losing streak.
The Morgan State men host Loyola Marymount from the West Coast Conference in Hill Field House tonight @ 7:30 pm. Morgan just came off of earning their first win @ UMBC a few days ago.
The Lady Bears are on the road tonight with a tilt @ Stony Brook. Morgan State just came off of a 81-50 beatdown @ Arkansas.
